Hi everyone, this is Elyse.
I'm the founder of this site and I thought it would be appropriate for me to kick off this forum with the posting of who I am and what I intend to create.
Many of you are already familiar with me through through the: ChoosingProsperity.com web site, the 21daysofgratitude web site, from playing the online Prosperity Game or from the "Prosperity from the Inside-Out" ezine (which I've been sending out twice a month since 9/2001 to over 16,000 subscribers.)
I'm not going to share my background here (there are plenty of places for you to learn about how I got on this "conscious creation" track.) Instead I want to give you a bit of back story about this site and why the vision for it is so compelling to me.
On January 31, 2006 I had trouble sleeping.
After tossing and turning for hours I gave up and went into my office to capture all of the thoughts that were spinning in my mind on paper.
The thoughts centered around the notion of developing an interactive and collaborative web site connected to the daily practices of being a "conscious creator."
This was prior to "The Secret".
This was prior to the concept of Web 2.0.
The very next day, a name popped into my head while I was in the shower. I ran down to the computer (in a towel) to do a search on the availability of the domain name "Prosperity Portal."
I was totally flabbergasted when I discovered that the domain name had been in use - apparently by a number of people over five or six previous years - but the most recent owner had had it for one year...
and had decided not to renew it...
so it had expired...
and become available...
the very day that I "heard" the name in the shower: February 1, 2006.
So that is the miracle story behind the Prosperity Portal - a vision and a name appearing miraculously.
But, clearly, the continuation of the story did not flow as smoothly.
From approaching two different companies to build my dream membership site, to finding myself drawn to a series of other projects, to considering launching this same idea under a different name - the Prosperity Portal took its own sweet time coming together.
But that is one of the most important things that I've learned while "living" the law of attraction over the past 8-plus years: 99% of the energy has to be lined up before something makes its appearance on the physical plane. And we're finally at 99%!
So the presence of this site - with the support of all of the members of the Prosperity Partnership program and a remarkable team of Certified Prosperity Guides - is the realization of powerful vision for me.
I envision this site becoming a home base and daily destination for people who are ready to move from having an "intellectual" understanding of how consciousness creates our reality to choosing to become actively engaged in the types of daily practices that transform our lives and our world.
I know that the all of the members of this site will be adding their own unique energies to this co-creative dance which will move the evolution of the Prosperity Portal in a variety of ways that I, myself, could not have imagined.
And I am in a stated of delicious hopeful expectancy about what happens next!!!!
I share this story to encourage everyone who has a dream to hold fast to it - no matter how long it seems to be taking to unfold.
I look forward to reading all of your introductions and holding light for your visions.

I am certain from this web site, as well as from all who are involved with it, I and others will gain many positive benefits from all of the "collective energy" we experience from coming here. I think this is just the start of even greater things for Prosperity Portal, for your vision, and by joining with you, for my own growth and vision in my life! It is very exciting that your passion, love and ideas are now in physical manifested form, on this forum and in the Prosperity Portal.
What a wonderful journey for you and delicious you have shared it with all of us.
I feel there is great energy and expansivness in this portal and amazing things will come from it and to all of the people who are in the portal and aligning to what their hearts desire is.

You are a wonderful role model for what is possible! You never gave up on your dream. You held your vision steady and showed such complete trust and faith in the Universe to deliver; in its own time when the energy is aligned. The time is now and we are here with you to celebrate! Your creation has the feeling of a wonderful new home, with an incredible built-in playground! There are many rooms to explore and new people to meet. Everybody's settling in, tidying up their rooms, familiarising themselves with their new digs and their resident companions!

Hi Elyse and everyone playing here!
I love it here too! I love how Elyse has recommended at least 15 minutes a day to flex our 'prosperity muscles' and the really really fun part is, to do that feels so GOOD! I would love to know which 'creative tools' everyone likes best, so I am off now to start a new Forum for just that. I look forward to getting to know others and myself better in this wonderful new space, thank you so much!

Hello co-creators! They were right in the new member message... so many wonderful things it is a tad bit overwhlming. I am so looking forward to this experience and applaud Elyse for such a leading edge creation that is this portal. About ten years ago i had a dream I was (still am) a wild child, but all I remebered of the dream at the time was the words "virtual reality" I had no idea what it meant. When I was introduced to Abraham 5 years agao my head about expolded when they suggessted the "virtual reality" process. All this to say .... I am here at the perfect time. here with all of you in this virtual world. See you all in there.

Thank you for starting this site and for all you have done to make it a community. Funny how we "know" some things so clearly. After seeing The Secret I KNEW I would heal myself -- and I did over 18 months ago. I also KNOW I was brought here to clear any remaining self limiting thoughts or blocks I have about creating financial abundance. Thank you Elyse!
