It seems like there are a lot of different meanings for the word Goddess these days. The modern "Sex Goddess" and the "Domestic Goddess" come to mind. In my opinion a Goddess is an embodiment of the Divine Feminine but, every woman is not necessarily a Goddess. To me a Goddess is a woman who balances both truth and love.
This is what I mean... Some women realize the truth that Grandpa is an alcoholic so they choose to have nothing to do with him. Some women love Grandpa so much that they don't even notice that he is destroying himself and the family with his drinking. A Goddess realizes the truth of Grandpa's condition and loves him enough to organize a family intervention and drive him to AA meetings.
Goddesses balance masculine competition with feminine co-operation, intellect with wisdom and justice with compassion. They are a force that is bringing male-dominant societies into balance. Goddesses don't swing the pendulum in the other direction, they just bring it into balance.
I've noticed that Goddesses tend to be most powerful when they set an intention and then follow their intuition. Men, myself included, use intention and intuition too, but not with the elegance that a Goddess manifests when her truth & love factor is fully operational.
Every Goddess I've become aware of is a distinct individual who is her own person. However, there are a few traits Goddesses have in common that make it easy to recognize them.
Grace
Goddesses tend to possess an allure and dignity whether they are changing a baby's diaper, drinking a beer with friends, or shedding tears as they console a loved one. Their conversations have a quality of refinement even if they are using four-letter words.
Beneficial Presence
Things just seem to work better and run smoother when they are there. She may not speak at the meeting or seem to "do" anything but her presence assures that results will be produced, accomplishments will be achieved and disharmony will be reduced.
In Demand
Goddesses are sought after... for advice, to join groups, to do lunch, to participate, to contribute, to be involved in countless events, causes etc. It makes a lot of sense. Who wouldn't want the input of a Goddess if she made it available?
Agelessness
It is very difficult to pinpoint the age of a Goddess by looking at her or talking with her. She has the ability to relate deeply and intimately with all age groups. Goddesses tend to have the youthful spirit of Maiden blended with the sage wisdom of the Crone.
Passionate Femininity
A Goddesses' womanliness is never in question. Regardless of what she is wearing, with or without make-up, a Goddess celebrates being a woman. She can allow a man to open a door for her without diminishing her power.
Respected and Admired
We tend to respect and admire the best. We cannot help but respect The Divine Feminine in a woman when we encounter it. It is not uncommon for a Goddess to respond to respectful admiration by saying something like "What did I do to deserve this? I was just being myself."
On a Mission
Goddesses have something that is important to them they are directing their time, effort, talent and genius towards. Their truth and love become a force of nature to produce their intended outcomes.
"All the world yearns for the blessings of the Goddess!"
It has been my pleasure an honor to receive many blessings from the Goddesses who grace the pages of the Prosperity Portal. My intention with this posting was to provide respectful acknowledgment of the importance of your contributions to me and to the world.

Grady! Thank You so much for this beautiful reminder. It trully made me pause and gave me so much of a sense of gratitude that I am surrounded by incredible Goddesses in my business! We call ourselves the Whispering Energy Wisdom Circle and this is our creed:
In indigenous traditions, the wisdom circle is a form of collaborative leadership. A wisdom circle is built on shared knowledge, shared experience, shared potential and a commonly held intention to transform skills, talents and abilities in alignment with inner knowing.
A wisdom circle is a way to create a safe, sacred space within which to be trusting, authentic, caring and open to change. The circle is held to encourage people to connect, to listen and speak from the heart in a spirit of inquiry, with the intention of uplifting one another and those we serve.
A wisdom circle has, as its primary function, the facilitation of forward motion in the forming of communities, connecting from the deep place in the heart.
Mapping the field of facilitation as a circle of wisdom, joined in the heart, is the shared intention of the Whispering Energy core collaborators.
How lucky am I?
