Hello everyone! I am joining the Prosperity Portal via the prosperity experiment. I have finally been telling the truth to myself about who I want to be and what brings me joy, and I have decided to take advantage of the community dynamic here and the tools that Elyse offers. I had been feeling very much alone on my journey, and so you have come into my life with perfect timing.
Last year at this time, I took the first step in telling a new story by going back to school. After graduation in June, I decided that even if I had a million dollars at my disposal, I would still enjoy this new career path (interior decorating). So I created a vision board that focused on working for QVC in West Chester, PA, particularly in set design. In August, at the recommendation of a college friend, I contacted my first alma mater to see if they had any contacts at QVC, and I received an e-mail three hours later telling me that the new Director of Annual Giving had just come from QVC and would be willing to speak with me. Since then, she has passed on my information and resume to several project managers there.
I intend to create a career that is joyful play in an environment which supports and encourages me on all levels (at QVC or somewhere even better). I intend to create abundance in all forms, and I am no longer afraid or ashamed to intend financial abundance. I intend to create a life in which my sister and I travel and explore the world and in which we work together to empower those who feel or are powerless. Freedom, growth, and joy are my emotional goals now, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and guidance as I point toward San Diego and keep going (as Abraham would say, hee hee! .

Yay Suzanne. Good for you for going for your dreams and reaching out for the support of a community. I'm just starting to get tapped into this part of the portal and am excited to be involved in this supportive forum. I'm excited to hear about all of your successes in your chosen field.
