I was reading about Worthiness from one of Doreen Virtue's oracle cards. Simply stated,

"Manifestations aren't rewards for good behavior - they're effects of your thoughts, beliefs, feelings, and actions."

There is nothing here that I don't already know, but the words struck me yesterday morning as so profound. Wow. Just a simple equation really. Whatever I am thinking, believing, feeling and doing will in time produce a certain effect.

We deserve to receive good in all ways. Is this what we are telling ourselves? Do we open our arms wide and allow ourselves to receive the good that is here for us?

Doreen Virtue says that when we allow ourselves to receive, we "help with God's plan to demonstrate love everywhere."

Kind of made me stop for a minute. Nothing I think, believe, feel or do is simply about me. The reach is much broader. When I cut myself off, this impacts others' lives. I don't operate in a vacuum. All of a sudden, I felt quite alert and responsible. A quote from Harry Palmer ringing in my ears:

"Because your existence in time and space is unique, there are lives that only you can touch." When I don't step up, so
to speak, there are ripples...

She continues,

"Accepting Heaven's help isn't just about you personally; it's about allowing yourself to be helped so that you can help
others."

She reminds me of how inter-connected our lives are. As we come together in this community, there is a beautiful opportunity for us all to receive and to give back. All the while, celebrating our wins, lending a helpful hand in times of need and practising gratitude for the good that comes to us and our spiritual community.

Virtue ends with an affirmation:

"Thank you for the gifts that have come to me now. I gratefully accept them for the good of all."

Thanks for your post Kat that prompted me to revisit Doreen Virtue's words. Worthiness feels to me like it is so much a part of who we are. It is not attached to anything. Our worth stands alone. We are not worthy because. We just are....

Love to you!

Nicola
